Let's understand this by revealing three well kept secrets
Secret #1
Our wayward mind, the devil, but not with a pitchfork
We are taught from our first breath that we are going to be responsible for our actions and our own self-effort will determine our outcomes, and that we will be met with an adversary along the way, called “satan”.
What they didn’t tell you is that the adversary is your mind, or a better-known synonym -ego.
- “We were alienated and separated in our minds“, Colossians 1 v 21 says,
- “As the serpent completely deceived Eve in his craft, so your thoughts be corrupted from the simplicity which is Christ“, 2 Corinthians 11 v 3
God is calling you to remember your true origin. This person who you think you are, going through these trials and tribulations, is not the real you. Realising and distinguishing between the different voices in our head is the key to you breaking through into your real identity in Christ, because in Christ, you are more than a conqueror over circumstances, Romans 8 v 37.
It is only your carnal mind (the ego) going through the pain. And the reason we got separated from God’s (Christ’s) mind was;
- Romans 1 v 28, ” and, since they did not approve to possess knowledge of God, He yielded them to a disqualified/ unapproved/ worthless (Greek Strongs #96) mind to do what is unfitting”.
Unfortunately, for mankind, the effect of this unqualified mind was that we lost the glory that we have in Christ. This is adequately described in Daniel, with Nebuchadnezzar, who is a shadow of our changed nature. At first, he was in the carnal mind, in his self-effort power, that wanted to be like god. He was boasting about his glory of building the great city of Babylon (man’s kingdom via self-effort instead of God’s works).
- Daniel 5 v 20, “but when his heart/mind was exalted (to rise oneself up), his spirit hardened in pride, he descended (to be deposed) from his royal throne, and his glory was taken from him.” (see *God vs Self, if you want to read more)
For this boastful pride, he lived 7 years (a shadow of the 7-day creation period) as a wild animal. His restoration came only after he acknowledged God’s dominion, not human nature’s. After Nebuchadnezzar restored God to His rightful throne, did God restore him to Babylon’s throne with even more excellent greatness, Daniel 4 v 34-36,
The biggest irony is that our human nature, our natural minds, want the things of a king to come to us, but we don’t want to do it according to the way of God. We want financial freedom, freedom of time, and freedom of movement, and most will get ruthless to obtain it. Unfortunately, we don’t learn from our past mistakes to truly understand how to access this. Seeking God first, always, and trusting in God is the hardest thing a man will learn to do. We (our ego) want to be something, and we want God to help us become that something that we have in our minds.
And when God doesn’t do what we want, we create self-soothing lies just so we don’t completely disregard God, but justify elevating the importance of self-effort above God’s plan for our lives.
So you will notice, the majority of mankind still operates under two false beliefs;
- either we don’t deserve these things because human nature is inherently evil
- or some were lucky enough to get these things, but by a great amount of self-effort, sometimes even built on the backs of those they sacrificed.
Secret #2
The 6000 year old lie- God help those who help themselves
For the last 6000 + years, humankind has been playing the chess game of life blind and losing because of this lie.
There is absolutely no scriptural foundation for this lie.
In fact, if we had done what we were called to do from the beginning of creation, live in God’s presence, we would have know that it is God that does the work Ephesians 2 v 9- 10, “not by (human) works, so that no one can boast for we are His(God’s) workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good toil which God prepared in advance as our way of life to walk in.”
Trials and tribulations are designed to bring us into the awareness of living in an intimate relationship with our Father, where He calls us into being led by His Spirit so that He can reveal Himself to us.
All we have to do is get out of God’s way and follow His lead. If you don’t, what you resist will persist, and the more painful it will be for your human mind. There is a better way; Isaiah 26 v 3, ” you keep [him] in perfect peace [whose] imagination [mind] rests upon [God] because he trusts in You [God].
Entering God’s rest is your quickest, most efficient and blessed way out of the trials and tribulations. But you have to be single-minded in faith, knowing without any doubt that God is in control.
James 1 v 2-4,6-8 “Think it all joy, my brothers, when you encounter trials of many kinds, knowing that the testing of your faith accomplishes cheerful endurance. Allow cheerful endurance to complete its act so that you exist mature and complete, lacking nothing. Ask in faith, without doubting, because he who doubts is like a wave on the sea driven by the wind and tossed. That man [who doubts] should not expect to receive anything from the LORD- a double-minded man is unstable in all his journeys.
So the question you need to honestly reflect on. Do you trust God without any doubt? Or do you wish you could trust God but justify your actions by saying God gave me a brain, I can think or fight myself out of this circumstance or situation? Does your trust waver like being tossed, where you would rather put your trust in a human system that is sometimes predictable? Just in case God does not come through for you?
Hebrews 4 v 9-11, “therefore there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For whoever enters God’s rest, also rests from their own work, just as God from His own. Let us speed up then to enter also that rest, so that no one falls by the same pattern of willful unbelief.”
The pattern of willful unbelief refers to Israel when they were in the wilderness and experiencing God’s supernatural provision, and in the face of it, they rejected His gospel. Yes, the same gospel we know today that promises us eternal life, Hebrews 4 v 2-3.
After so many thousands of years, is it not remarkable that we keep on tripping over our own feet, again and again? We read the Bible, we hold on to the comfortable scriptures and reject the ones we don’t truly understand. Just like our ancestors, we reject the Christ in us and our new identity. We choose a slavery and bondage mentality over being free as a Son of God.
You can stop this spiral by entering God’s rest today and start living as a conqueror of circumstances rather than a victim of circumstances. Trials and tribulations are calling you to stand in your real identity. To stop trying to solve it from your limited perspective and rather take your lead from God, rest in his promises and act on His works He prepared for you, Ephesians 2 v 9-10.
Secret #3
Your changed nature is at hand- You are training for reigning NOW, not a futuristic event
The good news is, satan is retiring sooner than you think. But it is conditional: the Son of God identity must arise in you.
When you enter the Rest of God, the Christ in you arises, and then the promises of God are available to you.
“and my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus,” Philippians 4 v 19.
And Christ Jesus is in us, ” for all the promises of God in Him, Yes, and in Him, Amen, to the glory of God through us“, 2 Corinthians 1 v 20.
And this is why you are here today, at King Sanctuary. We help you overcome the obstacles we have put in our own way for thousands of years. You are embarking on your journey back “home” into God’s presence.
Are you ready to let go of your carnal mind (your old man), who still wants to believe the self-effort lie, the self-soothing lullaby?
- Give and you shall receive, after all, is just the law of attraction at work
- Do good to others, or karma will come chasing and knock you down

- Don’t forget, play hard to live hard, the reward lies in the risk, so don’t fear, take bigger risks.
- But above all, always remember, believe in yourself
- Because you have the power to change and be anything.
The majority that follow this way may mean well; however, they all missed one crucial component. They fleeced themselves by relocating God to the sideline and elevating the SELF on the throne.
The reality is: the human was created with limitations. If you truly want to live in the freedom of God, It is only the Christ man, the one created on day 6 (and fact check, your ‘old man’ was created on day 3), that lives free of any limitation and as a king, who has dominion as demonstrated by Jesus.
The good news is, this limitless man is now available inside of us, on condition that we put our carnal minds under our feet, and step into our real identity and start living from the mind of Christ.
When Jesus went into the wilderness to be tested, He was tested on who He believed He is. All three times, scripture notes “If you are the Son of God”, and then temptations were to act out of self-effort and sidestep the works God had prepared for Him beforehand.
Jesus Christ is now inside of you, your true identity, the real you in God’s eyes. This is the gateway that is standing between your carnal mind’s perception of lack in the wilderness and Christ’s perception of abundant provision in the wilderness.
Say, “Yes” and walk with me as we journey together in unveiling the deep and mysterious layers of our changed nature and start loosening the limitations in your life.

Joshua 24 v 15, if serving the lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve..
Deep down, you know the reality is that it does not matter how hard you chase down things of life that the world says will bring you happiness. When you are out of alignment with God’s purpose and identity for you, you will come up short on the joy and happiness scale until you course correct.
When God started to reveal this journey to me, He gave me this Becoming a King manifesto. The manifesto is a reminder for us, who we are in our new identity as sons of God; it’s something to hold on to, a motivation for what we are becoming, a king by God’s hand.

But thankfully, “God has not given us a spirit of cowardice/ fearfulness but of power, love and sound mind (strongs G4995, aptly acting out God’s will by doing what He calls sound reasoning), 2 Timothy 1 v 7.
Ruling as King / Priest doesn’t mean you tell God what He needs to do for you. Neither does it mean you take charge and demand from God or the world what it is that you want.
Ruling as a King means you ask God what He wants to do, and then you follow His lead.
Today, you have a choice to change the trajectory of your life.

- You secretly envy those who have this rock-solid conviction in God’s plan for their life; it just seems like no storm can sway them, wishing you could be so sure of God’s plan and purpose for your life
Now is the time to obtain the wilderness map discover how your wilderness journey is God's trumpet call, calling you into His rest.
- Now that we know that the purpose behind trials and tribulations is to move out of your comfort zone. Because your comfort zone is your limitations. Where you are lulled to sleep, prevented from waking up. But not anymore, today you choose life, freedom, where you arise and shine, for your light has come. Isaiah 60 v 1-2.
- The good news is, this very thing, this circumstance or situation, that is trying to inflict pain upon you, is the very thing that has the potential to shift you into your new identity. Crossing the bridge, between victim mentality to an overcomer of circumstances. 1 John 5 v 4-5.
- From this position as a son of God, the world can throw whatever it likes at you, when you stand in your sonship, in God's presence, nothing, NOTHING will harm you, because God will always restore you to a better position. If you let Him. Luke 10 v 19.
- It's only the false/mistaken identity that brought us into bondage of death and limitation in the first place that suffers. Now with Jesus Christ in you, you can let this false idea of you go. Hebrews 2 v 15.
- Jesus came to demonstrate to us our sonship and showed us who and what we really are from God's perspective. And its easier than ever to follow in His guidance. 1 John 4 v 17.
- All you have to do, is change your mind to operate from a position of being a Son of God. Matthew 18 v 3
We will move you closer to God by loosening the lies of the three main perceptions that have been operating unconsciously, now being revealed by light.
Your Perception of Self
Remove the biggest obstacle in YOUR way- YOU!
So too, “if anyone in Christ, he is a novel/new/fresh creation. The old/original has passed away. Behold, the novel/new/fresh has become”, 2 Corinthians 5 v 17.
Therefore, “lay off your former conduct, the old man (self), which is corrupted by the deceiveableness desires”, Ephesians 4 v 22.
- What ideas of the old man are you trying to resurrect and keep alive in your new identity?
- Eradicate doubt, which is satan's most powerful weapon. Finally, remove the shroud that has blinded our minds for thousands of years.
- Find clarity, direction, purpose, and understand how the "Real You" functions and how to live heaven on earth.
Your Perception of God
Remove the ‘separation’ between YOU and GOD!
Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers. Every good giving and every perfect gift is from the beginning, coming because of the Father of light, in the presence of whom there exists no change or shifting shadow. He desired to bring us forth from the Word of Truth, that we would be someone, firstfruits of His creation, James 1 v 16-18
- How does your human experience of a flawed father and failed love attempts prevent you from experiencing God as a PERFECT loving Father?
- Finally, stop being deceived by self-efforts' lying results. Understand the true character of God and develop an unwavering trust in God.
- Learn to manage your mind while you wait on God, make His choices and walk in His works prepared for your life
Your Perception of Others
Remove the ‘pain’ between YOU and OTHERS!
Nevertheless, love your enemies, do good to them and borrow, fully expect nothing, then your reward that exists is abundant. Moreover, you will be sons of the Most High; for He exists as kind/good/useful/benevolent to the thankless/ungrateful and wicked, Luke 6 v 35-36
- Have you noticed how your trials and tribulations always seem to be connected to people? Can you love them without hating them or being hurt?
- Stop the struggle and know that "others" are the tests that build your maturity as a Son of God. NEVER get caught in their crosshairs again.
- You are training for reigning. Master the key to loving the other. Open your spiritual eyes and start seeing Jesus in the other person.

My "old man"
Like you, I ‘had’ an identity in the world. Life held so much promise: 3 degrees, a good high high-paying employment, family, house and car. According to the world’s standard, I was doing exactly as I should. But unbeknownst to most, every day, by 7 PM, I’d climb into bed, depressed, groaning inward, “how can this be the existence that God has planned for mankind?”. If creation and man were His perfect plan, I think it sucks, and this did not match up with the picture I had in mind of an omniscient, omnipotent, all-knowing God.
Very soon, the daily routine of eat, work, intermittent sleep became a futile exercise; I got fed up. This wasn’t living, this was existing, and I don’t see an intimate relationship with God anywhere in this picture. I did everything the world suggested: get a hobby or two, exercise, take up a sport, learn a new skill, and think yourself happy. But nothing was filling that hole inside my heart’s vacuum yearning for God.
So I set out on a knowledge-based journey to find God. I wanted to know why life and the promises of the Bible weren’t matching up. Why don’t we experience the things of old? What are the greater works Jesus promised? And most importantly, why is God not talking to me?
My "wilderness"
Leaving behind my religious perceptions, I started reading different religious texts, delved into the various psychologies of the mind, ancient mystery school theories, science on quantum physics and metaphysics, spiritualism and energetic practices. I tested it all. And yet, all I could see was the magnificent workings that prove God’s existence, but it wasn’t the means of developing an intimate relationship with Him. God kept on bringing me back to scripture, as we uncovered layer by layer, just knowing this, that unveiling the secrets in the Bible holds the answers I seek.
The most important question was, if Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross forgives all my sins now and in the future, and He is now inside me, why can’t I enter back into Eden and seek God’s face, living in His presence? Jesus said, “It is finished”, -they are perfected. What was the problem?
Seeking this unity with God became my obsession, and then one day, I was exposed to the Sonship message. Right then, I knew God had finally revealed Himself to me.
Conquering my "trials and tribulations"
I have conquered all kinds of abusive relationships in life, personal and work. I have faced the ridicule of loved ones not understanding me. I lost loved ones who could no longer walk this road with me, some through premature death, some through their rejection of us. I battled the darkness to the point of wanting to die multiple times. I’ve wrestled God more times than I can count, I have started over twice financially from zero point, I went through the trauma of retrenchment, facing financial difficulty as a sole breadwinner, I have lived the hardships of life, felt it on the skin like Job.
But like Job, each time God blessed me abundantly more. And through each calamity, I remained dedicated to knowing God deeper. I was not going to give up or renounce God, even if it meant I must continually wrestle God’s presence from Him (all in the mind naturally).
They say looking back is 20/20 vision, and I can testify that by the powerful love of God, that while I thought it was ‘me’, going through these things alone, God has been there every step of the way. He has blessed me in ways unheard of, with effortless provision more than double that of the previous, freedom of time, a comfortable and relaxed lifestyle, all while I was solely focused on Him, learning, growing and maturing.
At the beginning of the journey, it was I trying out of my own effort to conquer the battle. But with subsequent cycles of trials and tribulations, I grew into the character of the person who can rely on God no matter how big the tumultuous storm. James 1 v 2-4, “count it all joy”, because now I know every trial is like a season, and at the end of it, a life-enhancing revelation from God awaits. Little by little, less of me and more of Him.
Three things you don't know about me
- I absolutely love pink: I'm fondly known as the pink lady. You can bet on it; you'll see me in pink every time.
- I'm a closet introvert: My silence is God's wisdom, don't misjudge my spidey senses.
- I live for this: My joy is in the Lord, uncovering His mysteries and His ways and sharing this with you.

- Think more about the Kingdom of God than anything else
- Every relationship (work, friend, lover or foe) is an assignment
- All of creation is conspiring together to bless you and serve you
“for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea”
Habakkuk 2 v 14
Maturing in Christ is an ongoing process, and King Sanctuary is the birth of this transformational life He has prepared beforehand. We promise you, it didn’t come easy for my ‘adam’ nature; it was a gnawing and gnashing of teeth as we started shedding the skin of the old man. But it was a preparation phase to equip us to guide you through the wilderness into God’s rest.
A good word of caution, this transformation journey is not for the faint of heart. Paul says, Philippians 3 v 7 what things were gains to me, that I counted as a loss, because of Christ, yes indeed I count all things to be a loss, because of the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord. Because of whom I suffered loss of all things, and count them to be refuse, that I may gain Christ, and be found in Him.
King Sanctuary’s main purpose is to help you along this awakening journey into your new identity in Christ, without ;
- Going on this journey alone and unsupported.
- Feeling you have to give up everything that you know to gain Christ.
- Without having to start from scratch in searching out the matters of God.

We offer this as a catch-net, as we know firsthand how challenging and lonely this transformation journey can be. When it truly feels like you are alone against the world.
It is not an easy journey to go on, but you don't have to suffer in silence and alone.
Also not many are comfortable in group sessions, and we really care about helping you relieve the mental pain you are experiencing. Therefore, we offer these individual sessions.
Our Father loves us so much that He gave us tools, techniques, but above all, each other, to help govern the carnal mind.
We have time-blocked Monday as a dedicated day towards this service, so that you can know that your time spent is in full dedication, free of interruptions and distractions.
Currently, we only have capacity for one day. Other days, we spend in contemplation as we build the body of Christ through the teachings provided in the family room. This takes dedicated time and intense focus.
Should our Father pave the way, we will explore expanding this offering in various ways and means at a later stage.
This is your journey. You are in control of your sessions, and we move according to your pace.
To give you an idea, you have three sessions, which can be done within one day, three weeks or three months.

Science has shown us that we only use 10% of our brains at most. The 90% is our subconscious mind, which has been preprogrammed during our early years. Unfortunately, through the world's mindset.
These programmes run unaware and without us knowing it, keep us in a separation mindset from God. It's these programmes that get triggered every time someone does something to you. It recalls a past experience, the emotions felt, and before you know it, you are again is a state of trauma. This can only be changed through a new identity and a perception shift when we purposefully live from the Spirit inside-out, instead of the natural senses outside-in.
You might be familiar with the amygdala, which is also called the 'fear centre' in our minds. This is our primordial brain designed with the function to 'keep us safe' but the irony is it doesn't. This is your fight, flight or freeze reaction. In the ancient past it was useful because when our ancestors saw a lion, they would run away to preserve human life.
Perhaps you would have noticed that this is the changed nature that King Sanctuary manifesto is built on. Taking inspiration from Benaiah, David and Samuel, who ran towards the lion (the enemy is a roaring lion) and killed it. That means they did not function in human effort; they did not run away from the fear, but rather conquered it with God's power and provision. They could do this because they had a sure trust in God. They operated from a different mindset.
In contrast, popular psychology and self-help gurus elevate the human mind's importance. And because of how the human mind functions, they promote laborious practices to try and control it; like discipline, meditation, grit, push through the pain, emotional, time and financial management, personality types etc. All with the aim of understanding the carnal mind more in-depth to try and make it better.
But this fails for the great majority. With good reason; it was never supposed to be the carnal mind's efforts. All these things that you want changed are already perfect inside Christ's mind, which means by simply changing where you focus, in other words being Spirit-led and not human-led, you access and become more patient, loving, good-natured, have financial provision, peace above all things etc
The only valid ministry is the release of the indwelling Christ. And Christ is God's Spirit wanting to manifest in flesh.
The word religion is not a Biblical concept. It is a man-made concept. And unfortunately, it stemmed from the human/carnal mind trying to impose traditions, practices and desires in an attempt to govern human nature for selfish desires.
The hardship is, we have to do the heavy lifting of managing our minds by keeping it focused on God all the time. We have to learn and uncover the things of God's Spirit. Not get involved in religious 'wars' (can even be in debate with a friend), which ultimately is just one carnal mind perception fighting against the other carnal mind perception.
You can be religious and still not know God.
Religion failed to teach you the concept of Spirit. We are told in so many ways, carnal vs Spirit and how to overcome the carnal mind's limitations, not through confession, dietary habits, prayer meetings or a rule book of sins.
It was simply always by seeking God's face, meaning His character, His heart, His ways.
Living from Spirit means this carnal mind is overridden, and instead of operating from making human-limited choices, we now tap into Spirit and make God's choices. This is what is meant when we are called to put the carnal mind under our feet and live from Christ's mind; this is obedience to being led by the Spirit, and these people are called the Sons of God.
The problem today is, how are you supposed to do this if you have no knowledge of the Spirit dimension? Isn't it high time to broaden your understanding of the unseen realm according to the truths that are captured within the Bible? You don't need to search for it in between the false concepts of spiritualism that are out there. God's Book, the Bible, captures it all. All you need to do is read with a spiritual mindset and not a literal mindset.
2 Corinthians 4 v 18 , "fix your eyes not on what is seen but on what is unseen, since the seen is temporary but what is unseen is eternal". Colossians 3 v 2, " set your minds on the things above, not on earthly things". 1 Corinthians 2 v 14, the natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned".
If you are still in doubt, God's kingdom is spiritual - see 'behind the name'. So how are you going to deepen your relationship with God if you cannot seek, see, enter and inherit the kingdom of God, which is Spirit, because you have a fear of the unseen reality or spiritual dimension?
